University of Florida faculty with an interest in cancer research, education, and patient care from all disciplines are eligible to apply for membership. This includes but is not limited to individuals in the basic sciences, clinical cancer investigators, translational research, nursing, veterinary and comparative oncology, epidemiology, biostatistics, the behavioral/psychosocial sciences and allied health sciences. Applicants should demonstrate their activities related to cancer through one or more mechanisms. These can include: peer-reviewed extramural grant support, documented productivity in the form of recent peer-reviewed research publications or presentations at professional meetings, an active role (e.g., investigative, protocol development or management) in peer-review funded grant activities or other extramurally-funded studies, or national leadership in cancer-related organizations.
