Overview

The Department of Neurosurgery is dedicated to providing technically superb, compassionate, and timely medical care to patients, and developing new and better treatments for adult and pediatric tumors of the brain and spine. Malignant lesions include glioblastoma, anaplastic astrocytoma, germinoma, metastases, CNS lymphoma, and many other benign and malignant tumors. When appropriate, these lesions are treated with the latest microsurgical, computer assisted, and radiosurgical techniques.
