On Saturday July 30, 2016, Survivors for Research hosted Tea for a Cure, a fundraising event that benefits triple negative breast cancer research at the UF Health Cancer Center. Survivors for Research founders Barb Thomas and Terry Weber are breast cancer survivors who are passionate about helping others fight the disease.
Guests were served tea, mimosas, finger sandwiches, and desserts at the Capri Clubhouse in Gainesville, Fla. Guest were encouraged to wear their favorite dresses and hats; there was a “best hat” contest and raffle.
