This spring, three of our Clinical Community Navigator interns in the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement celebrated their graduation from the University of Florida. Please help us congratulate them on this achievement and thank them for their contributions to the UF Health Cancer Center!

Isabelle Barbery started with the UF Health Cancer Center three years ago as a COE volunteer and has now earned her Bachelor of Health Science degree with a minor in public health. “Watching her grow into a key member of the Clinical Community Navigator team has been a pleasure,” said Jamie Hensley, MHCM, CCRP, assistant director for cancer screening and care navigation. “Her dedication has helped shape the program into what it is today.”

Eloise Wein, who joined the team just a year ago, received her Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in social and behavioral sciences. “She’s adept at all aspects of the job and played a pivotal role in driving forward our colorectal cancer screening improvement plan,” Hensley said. “Her contributions have been invaluable.”

Emily Palmer also earned her Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in social and behavioral sciences. “Emily has hit the ground running and is already making meaningful strides in our cervical cancer self-collection study,” Hensley said.
