This program contains an online library of video presentations on cancer research topics and career paths by University of Florida Health Cancer Institute faculty and graduate trainees. The presentations were made at our annual Cancer Research Conferences for Science Teachers and Cancer Research Symposia for High School Students.
Content
Each module includes a video recording of the presentation topic, a speaker bio and a topic abstract. The video presentations are 10 to 30 minutes long. The modules can be used as a classroom aid for teaching a broad range of science and health research topics, including biostatistics and data science, cancer control, DNA damage, drug discovery, engineering, genetics and epigenetics, immunology and immunotherapy, the microbiome, the microenvironment, and molecular biology.
Florida Department of Education
Each module lists the Florida State Academic Standards for Science addressed by that topic.
