UF Health hosts bimonthly cancer education and support sessions. In these sessions, patients, survivors, caregivers, and friends will learn from our UF Health multidisciplinary cancer experts on various cancer-related subjects and connect with others facing similar experiences.
Our team of oncology nurse navigators facilitate these sessions. Here, we focus on a range of subjects, including:
- Prevention and treatment of breast cancer
- What your pathology results mean
- Understanding gastric and pancreatic cancer
- Nutrition
- Occupational therapy
- Genetics and cancer risk
- And more
