Description
The 14th Annual BMT & Cell Therapy Winter Workshop will take place Friday, Dec. 5 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport.
This year, the University of Florida Health Cancer Institute is proud to join as a co-host of the event, alongside City of Hope and Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Our own Jordan Milner, M.D., is serving as co-host with Dr. Edmund Waller (Emory) and Dr. Marcel van den Brink (City of Hope), who co-founded this workshop since 2012 as a platform to catalyze innovation in stem cell transplantation and cellular immunotherapy.
The workshop, held just before the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting, features 18 rapid-fire presentations highlighting late-breaking, unpublished clinical and preclinical data. The format is informal, highly interactive and designed to spark conversation across institutions. The venue located directly in Orlando International Airport makes travel especially convenient for participants.
We encourage UF faculty, trainees and research teams engaged in hematologic malignancy, transplant or cell therapy-related research to apply for a speaking slot. UF early-career researchers are especially encouraged to apply. Presentations should focus on original data not already accepted or intended for presentation at ASH. This is a unique opportunity to showcase the cutting-edge work happening at UF on a national stage.
Speaker submission deadline: Tuesday, Sept. 30
