A Gathering for Black Men and the Family Members Who Love Them
About: The UF Health Cancer Center’s Community-Partnered Cancer Disparities Research Collaborative (CDRC) and its partners hosted a prostate cancer gathering for Black men and the family members who love them on Saturday, Feb. 11. The goal was to offer Black men with prostate cancer and others information on ways to prevent prostate cancer as well as new treatments. It also aimed to give Black men with prostate cancer and their families opportunities to share and learn ways to cope with the disease.
