About: The inaugural Southeastern Cancer Survivorship Symposium is set to begin on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 7:30 a.m. to noon. We invite you to participate in an educational symposium dedicated to research on holistic and patient-centered approaches that aim to support individuals throughout their cancer journey, from diagnosis through the post-treatment phase, to help them lead fulfilling and healthy lives.
Cancer survivorship is a multidimensional and evolving field that focuses on improving the quality of life and addressing the unique needs of individuals from the time that they are diagnosed with cancer until the end of their life. At this symposium, we will hear from three prominent keynote speakers in the field of cancer survivorship and attendees will be given the opportunity to attend breakout sessions with the speakers to have more focused discussions.
Breakfast and coffee will be provided for in-person attendees.
