"Update on Cancer Research in Collaboration with Health Extension: Partnerships and Progress"

Melissa Vilaro, Ph.D., M.P.H., C.P.H., will provide an overview of the new and evolving collaborations that bring UF/IFAS Extension faculty and UF academic cancer researchers together. She will also share examples of projects to offer insight into how to bridge the gap between UF/IFAS Extension's mission of promoting health for all and innovative federally funded cancer research. An Extension-focused cancer needs assessment will also be presented.
