Help recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month during UF Radiation Oncology's Pink Pumpkin challenge. Dress them up in sparkles, sequins, lace, with inspirational messages and drawings, or anything you can imagine! Patients and staff can vote for their favorite pumpkin daily from Oct. 28-31.
Drop off your pumpkin by Oct. 28 at the Radiation Oncology Reception Desk, first floor, Davis Cancer Pavilion. Judging and a bake sale to benefit the American Cancer Society will occur at 2 p.m. Oct. 29.

UF Health Women's Health Expo
The event begins with a women’s health expo, where you can mingle and discover ways you can help you and your family live healthier lives. Then join us for dinner and hear from UF Health experts on various topics important to women of all ages.
Speakers include Lisa Spiguel, M.D., who will present the latest information about breast cancer symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, and David Iglesias, M.D., who will present an overview of gynecologic cancers.

Breast health education and screening events
The Beautiful Gate Cancer Support & Resource Center, in partnership with the UF Health Cancer Center, will host a series of breast health education and screening events for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
These events are part of the MASS program, designed to reduce late-stage breast cancer diagnoses among uninsured women in Florida by offering free mammograms through the Breast & Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program. The events include educational sessions, mobile mammography screenings, and community discussions at various locations across the state. Participants can sign up for these free services by preregistering online.
