Division of Quantitative Sciences Guest Seminar
Dear colleagues,
Tomorrow we will be welcoming a special guest from the National Cancer Institute to deliver a Division of Quantitative Sciences guest seminar. Heather Basehore, Ph.D., the health science administrator with the Center for Biomedical Informatics & Information Technology in the Office of Data Sharing at the NCI, will visit us to discuss the NIH data management and sharing plan at one year since implementation. She will describe the lessons being learned for cancer research. This lecture has important implications for researchers of all disciplines, from clinical to basic sciences. I encourage all members and trainees to attend this lecture at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, in CGRC-101 or via Zoom.
