Annual Research Showcase
The UF Health Cancer Center invites you to its annual Research Showcase at the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom on Jan. 31. This event includes a keynote presentation by a nationally renowned cancer researcher, a judged poster session with prizes for the top trainee posters and three-minute thesis presentations by the Cancer Center Predoctoral Award recipients.

NCI Post Doc Recruitment Event (PRE)
The NCI Postdoc Recruitment Event (PRE) applications are open until February 7, 2024. PRE is a 2-day, in-person event held on May 1-2, 2024, at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). PRE will give Ph.D. candidates the chance to explore postdoctoral opportunities, learn about the NIH and NCI, and postdoctoral research opportunities at NCI. There will be opportunities to meet with investigators, learn about the resources and training available, network with current NCI postdocs, conduct interviews, and tour the various facilities.

UFHCC University of Scholars Program
The UFHCC University of Scholars Program is an opportunity for undergraduate students to gain research experience and training in basic and translational cancer research, cancer prevention, diagnostics, epidemiology and therapeutics. This program is for students who want to pursue graduate education and research careers in biomedical sciences. Selected participants may be eligible for a stipend of up to $1,750.
