The ASH Minority Medical Student Award Program (MMSAP) offers mentored introductory biomedical research experience to medical students underrepresented in hematology-related fields.Applications are due January 16, 2024. Make sure to request a mentor by October 30; this is a required step in the application process.
The ASH Minority Hematology Graduate Award (MHGA) provides support for doctoral students in their first, second, or third year of graduate school who are underrepresented in hematology-related fields and conducting research. Applications are due January 16, 2024.
The ASH Minority Resident Hematology Award Program (MRHAP) provides support for resident physicians underrepresented in hematology-related fields in an internal medicine, pathology, or pediatric residency program to conduct hematology-focused research. The ASH Graduate Hematology Award (AGHA)encourages doctoral students in their first, second, or third year of graduate school (at the time of application) in the United States and Canada to pursue a career in academic hematology by providing funding for students conducting research on hematology-focused projects.
