This is a six-month professional development experience designed for early- to mid-career oncology researchers who are ready to translate their science into influence. You will develop practical communication skills that most researchers never receive formal training in and graduate as a Cancer Research Ambassador for the UF Health Cancer Institute.

The ONCO-GATOR (Oncology Networking, Coaching, and Opportunities – Guiding Advancement, Training, and Onboarding for Researchers) mentorship program aims to build a vibrant mentoring culture that removes barriers for early-stage investigators and new UF Health Cancer Institute members, accelerates grant success and academic productivity, and strengthens our competitive position in cancer research and care.

Investigator Training
The Investigator Training has been developed to help investigators new to the UF Health Cancer Institute to quickly and easily complete the mandatory trainings required before human subject research can be conducted at the University of Florida and the UF Health Cancer Institute. A version of this course is also offered to scholars and fellows upon request.
