Internal Funding

There are four major internal funding opportunities supported by the Cancer Center. They are designed to support the work of our researchers and their collaborators. The programs change over time to best support the mission of the center. Visit each page for more information about the currently available funding opportunities.

American Cancer Society Institutional Research Grant Pilot Projects

Through an Institutional Research Grant from the American Cancer Society, the UFHCC is providing funding for early stage investigators for cancer-related basic, pre-clinical, and population-based research studies.

UFHCC Pilot and Exploratory Study Awards (PES)

These awards provide developmental support for promising, cancer-focused collaborative research projects, and create collaborations between cancer researchers at the center.

FACCA Research Development Program

This program fosters new collaborative projects involving the Moffitt Cancer Center, the University of Florida Health Cancer Center and the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

UFHCC A1 Accelerator Grants

This UFHCC Cancer-Focused A1 Accelerator Grant Program is designed to support promising new research or competitive renewals that have nearly missed funding pay lines.
