CRISPR technology facilitates the precise editing of targeted regions of mammalian genomes and remains one of the key recent advances inbiotechnology.

The CRISPR Technology Core (CTC) located within the ICBR, offers UFHCC researchers with access to expertise in Cas9-mediated gene engineering in mammalian cells as well as custom services for CRISPR-based whole genome phenotypic screens.

The CTC is under the direction of Dr. Chris Vulpe (CTHR) who provides free consultation to UFHCC members. Services can be accessed using the ICBR CrossLab web portal.
