DNA Repair Working Group

The mission of the DNA Repair Working Group is to build alliances and collaborations among Cancer Center investigators across different departments and colleges at the University of Florida. The overall goal is to conduct cross-disciplinary cutting-edge research in DNA replication, damage and repair to advance the understandingDNA Rapir of the mechanisms of oncogenesis. A specific objective is to strengthen existing and establish new collaborations leading to multi-investigator grant applications.

The DNA Repair Working Group meets to present and discuss research on relevant topics as part of a larger NCI-based DNA repair interest group (an NIH Scientific Interest Group) consisting of more than 10 sites across the nation. Monthly video conferences showcase a presentation from one site with questions and discussions from the other sites.

This group meets on a Tuesday each month in R1-118F in the Academic Research Building from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. (EST). Please contact ResearchDevelopment@cancer.ufl.edufor the monthly schedule.
