The biostatistics professor and associate director for cancer quantitative sciences at the UF Health Cancer Center became president on Jan. 1.

Ji-Hyun Lee, DrPH, is serving as a mentor for the program for scholars based across Latin America.

Tuo Lin, Ph.D., is clinical trials unit leader of the Biostatistics and Computational Biology Shared Resource.

Dr. Lee will serve as chief statistical advisor on the Nature Medicine panel.

Dr. Lee will ensure high-quality data, rigorous and reproducible analyses, and effective reporting, fostering collaborative research.

The event provided an enriching opportunity to learn more about AI applications in cancer research, as well as stimulated potential new collaborations.

Ji-Hyun Lee, DrPH, will serve as ASA president-elect starting Jan. 1, 2024, with her term as president beginning Jan. 1, 2025.
