giving Reducing the burden of cancer WITH A MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH

UF Health treats nearly 24,000 cancer patients each year. UF Health Cancer Institute researchers are uncovering the genetic drivers of cancer to better understand how it grows — and to develop new, advanced treatments. Your support accelerates this work and brings new therapies and diagnostic tools to patients.

Our Mission

Through four strategic pillars (engage, discover, translate, and educate), the UF Health Cancer Institute focuses resources on priorities that leverage the entirety of the University of Florida. Three cross-cutting themes unique to UF run throughout the pillars to help us accomplish our goals: leverage AI/cancer informatics, reduce cancer health disparities and invest in research infrastructure.
