Acknowledging the Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG), Shared Resources and State Funding
Any publications, press releases and other documents that cite results of CCSG-supported research must acknowledge the CCSG and maintain NIH Public Access Policy compliance.
The National Cancer Institute requires all manuscripts accepted for publication that receive direct cost support from the CCSG to be submitted to PubMed Central and be assigned a PubMed Central ID (PMCID). In this category are publications that used Shared Resources supported by the CCSG and pilot projects supported by CCSG Development Funds. The PMCID must be included at the end of applications and reports once it has been obtained.
An example statement is provided below.
“Research reported in this publication was supported by the UF Health Cancer Center, supported in part by state appropriations provided in Fla. Stat. § 381.915 and the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health under Award Number P30CA247796. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health or the State of Florida.”
