About
An initiative of the Florida Academic Cancer Center Alliance, the intent of this grant mechanism is to foster new collaborative projects involving the four center. This opportunity is designed to further build collaboration among the four centers, each of which is providing funding for the awards. Each proposal requires strong, meaningful collaboration by investigators from at least two of the four centers.
The 2022 competition, made possible by the Casey DeSantis Cancer Research Program, sought to capitalize on the cancer focused areas covered by the 2022 FACCA Retreat which are cancer and aging, cancer prevention, care delivery and survivorship, metabolism, tumor immunology and immunotherapy, and infection and cancer.
